About the Role
iAutomation is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in sales and marketing, offering the opportunity to grow within the company. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our customer outreach efforts and supporting our sales and marketing initiatives.
Description
- Automated Cold Calling: Conduct automated cold calls to potential prospects to generate interest and qualify leads.
- Cold Email Campaigns: Draft and schedule automated cold emails targeting potential prospects to enhance outreach efforts.
- Campaign Strategy: Assist in the strategy, development, and execution of various campaigns designed to promote different programs to diverse customer groups.
- Database Management: Scrub databases using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify potential prospects.
- Marketing Integration: Familiarize yourself with all marketing collateral and resources to effectively integrate this content into your outreach.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with marketing, sales, sales operations, and engineering departments to develop engaging content for cold outreach.
- Lead Management: Manage the routing and qualification of incoming leads to ensure efficient follow-up.
- Lead Nurturing: Assist in nurturing cold leads until they are primed for the sales team’s follow-up.
- Appointment Scheduling: Support the sales team by scheduling appointments for warm leads to facilitate the sales process.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in a similar position; a strong interest in sales and marketing is a must.
- Strong sense of urgency with a desire to grow and develop within the company; there are opportunities to advance into more senior sales and/or marketing roles based on performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and project-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred; we will provide training for the right candidate.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software tools.
- Strong sense of resiliency and the ability to handle rejection in a constructive manner.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Office time required, on the road (car) travel for customer visits, and some air travel required (training).
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment, car and air travel, and manufacturing environment at customer sites.
